Chelsea Green has sent a message to Samantha Irvin, following Irvin announcing her WWE departure.
The popular ring announcer took to social media to share a lengthy statement confirming that her time as a WWE Raw announcer has come to an end.
Irvin was a fan favourite for her unique calls on the mic for different WWE stars. For example, instead of saying Chelsea Green, Irvin would say 
Chelsea Green.
Green has now responded to Samantha Irvin’s WWE departure announcement, noting that she feels lucky to have worked with the now-former WWE name.
Chelsea Green wrote:
“I will miss seeing your smiling face at work! I am so lucky to have shared the ring with you & even more lucky to have been a part of your iconic ring announcements 
”
Irvin has been with WWE since April 2021, when she was hired as a ring announcer for the 205 Live brand, before eventually becoming a beloved name on the main roster.
She credits Mark Henry for introducing her to the company, with Samantha originally having a tryout to become a wrestler prior to her ring announcing tenure.
Samantha Irvin’s fiance Ricochet notably left WWE in June, ahead of joining AEW in August.
